@thinbaboy, di ako naninira. i called rox and chris sports to inquire about registration kasi gusto ko nga sumali. packing material kaya medyo disappointed ako when they told me, walang reg ng independence sa kanila. pero malinaw na ngayun, this weekend pa open ang reg sa rox.
ayoko na tumakbo packing material dito ! last year 21k ang tinakbo ko dito ang gulo nila lalo na mga marshall mukhang hndi na briefing ang mga un ! attention organizer para hndi na dadala ang mga runner . ang habol lang naman ng mga runner eh maging maayos ang run

@thinbaboy, fyi ms or mr, i’m not making sira here, i’m packing material just saying what my experience last year and merely saying ayokong sumali. Pareho lang kami ng most bloggers out there that rates races like 5 stars, 5 pinky fingers etc pero mine is supot. gets mo?
lets respect everyone’s opinion. as long as you are not attacking the event, a person, or the organizer then i believe the discussion is still healthy. it is always good to raise information such as what happened last year so that runners can be guided accordingly and make decisions on their own
i wasn’t able to attend this run last year but from the feedback of my friends and acquaintances, the race left a bad taste in the mouth. the marshals wasnt able to guide the participants properly where some finished the 21k race but not actually running the whole distance
as for me, i want to give this race another chance. though i am a bit skeptical with the organizers. as im not aware which races they’ve conducted in the past. in addition, registration only started with a mere 3 weeks left to go
This would be my Birthday Run..I hope I can join this race..:)
@Adin Yu – The organizers, in coordination with H.E.L.P. (Hope for Economic Liberty and Peace) Foundation, will also give educational scholarships to at least ten deserving students from the proceeds of the event.
As of now, you can register at ROX.All finishers of the half marathon will receive commemorative medals and the top 100 finishers of the 10km, 5km and 3km will also be awarded medals. There will be 10 Age Group competitions and the Top Three (3) runners of each age group will be awarded cash prizes and medals. Age Grouping are as follows: MALE a) 15 years old and below, b) 16 to 29 years old, c) 30 to 39 years old, d) 40 to 49 years old, e) 50 to 59 years old and f) 60 years old and over; FEMALE g) 15 years old and below, h) 16 to 29 years old, i) 30 to 39 years old and j) 40 years old and over. @Suplado you can try joining this event also since there is a 21K categ. this will help build your core for the much anticipated full mary @MIM. ;) learned from a reliable source that for a first time 42K runner with limited training period, part of the preparation is to have had at least done 2-3 21K just to get the feel of your body’s strength and endurance running a half mary which will give you a gauge how many hours you can do the 42K on actual race day…

sana naman ma-ayus ang mga marshall,,,tsaka water station ,,,,,hwag packing material naman sana abutin ng mataas na halos ang araw,,,baka mamaya matulad sa brooks …,,naka-register na po ako ngayun d2 dalawa pa tatakbuhan ko ,,,pati mizuno…
mga runners kita kita na lang tayo ..pag-di maganda patakbo ,,,sa iba na lang tayo ,,,at least ma experience natin kung sino mga matino na organizer,,yung ma-ayus yun ang takbuhan natin ,,,kasama ng mga friend packing material ,,,good luck na lang mga friends
i just won a free reg for this event, i joined 21k(my 1st f ever)! kc me finishers medal.but then i also registered at phil run moa long b4 at 10k.think-think-think w/c 1 to attend! ala b list of gun time d2?kc bka pwede me tkbo 10k sa phil run(5:40)tpos tkbo 21k indep?hanep! packing material
I hope the organizers are taking hydration stations seriously. parang walang gaanong sponsors to take care of water or any form of hydration along the routes. guys, lets hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
