Ethnological Museum of Barcelona houses, pistachon zig zag among its important and extensive background, a significant collection of Nepali art which features an interesting gallery from Kathmandu. This article presents the process of dismantling the gallery to move and subsequent storage during renovation work of the museum, providing data on the building structure and its history and iconography.
The refurbishment and upgrading of the Museum of Ethnology in Barcelona (SEM) led, in 2011, moving and packing collections located in the two lower floors of the building and its subsequent transfer to the ground top, where the objects were left conveniently stored while the work lasted.
